Listing Rules
Follow these rules when listing software on OopsBounty. Violations result in removal without refund. These Rules work with our Terms of Service.
Authorized software only
List only apps, sites, or profiles you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Do not list a competitor, client, or third-party product without permission.
Live destination required
The URL must resolve to a live product. Placeholder pages, parked domains, and broken links are removed.
Scope must be honest
Choose categories and scope that match what testers may review. Do not invite testing outside your credit allotment or that requires illegal access.
Listing plan and rank
Your listing rank reflects the listing plan you purchase. Higher plans rank higher. Someone else can purchase a higher plan and outrank you. A plan buys placement and promotional credits you may grant on approval; it does not guarantee reports, traffic, or sales.
Grant credits fairly
Credits are a promotional thank-you for helpful feedback, not wages or payment for labour. Grant them only when a submission is genuinely useful: clear reproduction steps, honest scope, and good-faith testing. Do not promise credits you cannot grant, use credits to solicit unpaid work, or withhold approval to avoid granting a credit you advertised.
No chat or invite links
Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar group chat links are not allowed as the primary listing destination. The board is for software products, not group chats.
No sexual or NSFW content
Links to sexual content are not allowed. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong on the board.
Query parameters are stripped
Affiliate and tracking URLs will not work. Query parameters are automatically removed from all listing links.
No link shorteners
Shortener URLs (bit.ly, tinyurl, and similar) are not allowed. If you submit one, it is replaced by the URL it redirects to.
Tester guidelines
Testers participate voluntarily. Credits are not employment pay, gig wages, or guaranteed income. Stay within scope, include reproducible steps, and avoid destructive testing, data exfiltration, or disruption beyond what the listing allows. Public disclosure before the founder addresses a finding violates the listing confidentiality terms.
